We were robbed, essentially. We have changed our procedures, but Katie and I are still a little startled at how fucking scummy people can be. Oh, and Ziva failed aircare by the narrowest of margins because an essentially brand new catalytic converter quit. So no car, biked into work today – and we need SURPRISE. I MEAN SUPPLIES. Oh, and the day’s take sucked, even without the theft. Oh, and the temp sensor on Bertha is not registering properly. And the sun shining means that the shop is hotter than hell’s front gate. There’s more but you get the idea. FML.

oooo and I forgot to mention that the move had Paul and Jasper from church as well as me and Katie, and everybody was super helpful, and Katie’s stuff is in storage now, and I drove a cube van with a lift gate and I know how to run a lift gate now. WE HAS A SAD that the family heirloom went into storage but it will come out SOON. Because the cafe will be successful and Katie will get her own place.

Katie picked out the meat slicer herself and it turned out to be 10 percent off. She has a nose for a good piece of equipment…
