So I have to ask, given the contextual details, was this photoshopped? The photographer had to have a lot of time to get into position – roped to a mast, wasn’t he? and surely that concatenation of images wouldn’t have lasted more than a minute…
I suspect I am becoming direly cynical in my old age.

I dunno. I looked at it for a long time, and I don’t think it was. And even if it was, it’s still a great shot!
