Brought tears…Ages ago I wondered why people didn’t CLEAN their instruments. Now I see that doing that would be equivalent of stripping the finish off antique wood. There was an ancient 16mm film of The Weavers – decades later Ronnie Gilbert said of their appearance that they were Barbie doll and the three stooges…but could they sing!
