Regarding the shooting death of Sean Bell in 2006 and the general statement regarding racism, I can attest to several Brown University Black students being harrassed and/or beaten by Providence police for no crime other than walking down the street at night — witnessed by Jenn on numerous occasions and strongly protested on mass by other Brown students.
