Do you remember when we camped at Waskesiu, and boated up to Kingsmere? On the way back, on the Kingsmere River between Kingsmere and the Second Narrows, the motor was silent and just onshore behind a screen of bushes we saw movement. It was a cow moose, barely visible, but we heard the slurping sounds of the calf as it suckled. I wonder if that was when you developed your passion for moose.
