He’s a foodie in Toronto; he’s an amazing writer and I have a soft spot for him because he was just about the cutest 8 year old I ever met. HE’s the one who came up with the line Jew on Jus action, so blame him, not me. I hope he’ll review some of my favourite watering holes on my tab when next he’s in town.
After negotiations, the Luddite owns that since he has to be returning library books ANYway at Willingdon and Hastings, he might as WELL come up here, but he’s not too sure about the weather. Humph. He’ll be turning up after work here today, at which point I’ll feed him probably a mirror image of the meal I fed him last Thursday. Plus biscotti. I will ensnare him with my biscotti. (typed Biscotit, which is amusing). I roasted almonds last night, the scent was driving me crazy, and I wanted to sit down and eat them all, but I managed to restrain myself and there will be enough for Biscotti. Then I will sing him the Tapioca Song, and maybe Lady of Komarr, as I haven’t touched my guitar in weeks, and which I might as well rehearse anyway, and then we’ll prob’ly sit around and watch Youtube videos, which is a lovely activity when shared. (You pick one, I pick one… compare, contrast, etc.) It will be a quiet evening, especially since he has to go to work the next day.
