I want one! Jim and I must move to the country.
I want an anteater. But I USED to want a burro, and a dovecote full of white doves. And a pot-bellied pig, or really any kind of pig. What I HAVE is fish in little ponds which don’t even need feeding, and that’s about the amount of energy I am prepared to put into house-varmint care, so it’s just as well I didn’t get my wish about all that other livestock.
You’re absolutely right, Nautilus3! In our house we already have 2 (sometimes 3 dogs), 1 gerbil and about 50 budgies AND it takes a lot of hours out of the day caring for the creatures we already have.
If we had a farm, we’d be soon be negative-profit big time.
