Jihad’s brother and his girlfriend got caught in a severe flash thunderstorm in Ottawa. The boat sunk about 1 km off shore but both survived wearing life jackets. Jenn was supposed to go out on the boat this weekend.
You must be so relieved they came out okay….. and yes, I had a lifejacket on the entire way there. I may be a rebel, but I don’t fight with physics.
You bet I am. Jihad is 1 of 5 kids in a tight-knit family unit. If the family lost one of their own, it would have been devastating. Sure glad the boat sunk before Jenn got on it AS Jenn can be stubborn and might not have donned her life jacket AND might not have been as lucky as Jihad’s brother’s GF. People that boat need to be aware of how fast a storm can come out of nowhere and remain alert and cautious.
