OMG, loved the slug. Also, this post got me to thinking of my time in Etobicoke and when my brother Joe came to live there for a very short time. He brought his drums, worked evenings and practised during the day. What we didn’t know at the time was that many retired people lived in the building.
So… not so popular with the percussion, I take it…
I’m gonna go with no. You didn’t ever hear the disturbance?
Didn’t you live on the other side of the building? That was my recollection. As for disturbances, between the drunks playing on the rocks by the water, kids, skunks, raccoons and those freeeeking geese (wonh wonh wonh, wonh wonh, wonh wonh wonh, all bloody night), fast boats going by and the occasional waterspout, it was pretty quiet.
As you were walking towards the front entrance of the building I lived in the first apartment on the left side, 2nd floor. If I leaned out my balcony I could see the outside corner of your apartment on the 1st floor. Geting there via the hallways would have made it seem like it was on the other side of the building. And, … it seems it was much quieter not backing onto the waterfront!
