So when I was a kid growing up my parents had a book called Abyss, full of scary deep see creatures. Then I saw a movie called Abyss, which I really liked although it was deeply flawed. Now here’s a v. cool link to abyssal creatures. Dumbo octopots are cute!

ALL the octopots are cute. I vaguely recall explaining when you were very young that the scary critters in the Abyss book were an inch and a half long.
