After reading what this guy had to say, I think flat lining would be a more interesting and less torturous experiment myself. Also, I can’t even stand it when I get water up my nose while swimming.
Waterboarding triggers the mammalian I am drowning reflex…. it’s torture all right. I can’t stand getting water in my eyes, ears OR nose which is why I can swim – including across a lake and back – but not with my head under water.
Yet more evidence for your hypothesis (Allegra) that it’s in the DNA.
