Dr. Filk is having an interesting relationship with morphine. My brother’s experience was that it didn’t take the pain away, he just didn’t care. the morphine does take the pain away for Dr. Filk – a VERY good thing as his injuries are significant although he lost remarkably little skin. I plan to suggest he write a filk about morphine and Philip K. Dick, especially if visual hallucinations are generated. Philip K. Dick was big on visual hallucinations, not however morphine-induced.
