I’m sorry to hear about Terry Pratchett’s having this trouble. I haven’t read much of his work but I believe he brought funny to Sf like few others. Nothing near Spider Robinson, of course, but perhaps that’s because my personal guilty pleasure is puns…I ran into Terry at one of the SF conventions David and I went to in Toronto – but didn’t have the nerve to accost him because my familiarity with his work was not great.
He was – well, spectacular – in appearance. I hope he still is, and I hope that you run into him in Denver.

I dunno how much travelling he’s doing these days, and whether I’m still going to Denver. We shall see.
