… and I lived in Ottawa, somebody came door to door asking my parents what they thought about contemporary television. My parents said they hated Disney stuff because parents were characterized as idiots, and preferred The Addams Family because the parents were actually parents, and there was love and affection and mutual support in the household. Thanks for the Addams reference. Still think that they were the most loving and caring parents ever on tv. Happy greek cup day to you.
As a kid, I loved that expression “When dinosaurs roamed the earth”. Imagine my shock, the first time Jenn used it in reference to something I said. My Mom recently found a strip in the Saturday funnies with a baby dinosaur and its mother and sent it to Jenn with the caption “this is me with your mom”.
