It is impossible to take a bad picture of Katie. Katie and Princess Di – the camera loves them.
Good for them Nautilus — Jim insists I am pretty, but I haven’t seen a photo that prooves it. Jenn is like Katie, Miss Photogenic. I am camera shy and Jenn blooms when the camera gets new her — I think this is a large part of it. Anyways, that my story and I’m sticking with it.
Debbie, that comment totally cracked me up. “But I haven’t seen a photo that proves it….” I can so hear your voice saying that….
I am definitely one of those people who was okay looking when young and have gotten doughy looking and rather assaultive on camera lenses. But I managed to produce two stunning youngsters, with help of course, and they both photograph very well indeed.
My Mac has a built in camera but somehow I haven’t been able to get it to take the magick picture yet. It doesn’t stop me from trying, and I’ve taken some very goofy pix indeed.
Allegra, I recommend you pick a friend/family member who is good with the camera AND with whom you feel really comfortable, relaxed and happy — somebody who makes your sould shine through. My Mom is one of these people and the only person who can seem to capture a decent picture of me. Also, I have no fear of my Mom sharing bad photographs, she respects her subjects and simply destroys any unworthy photos. We may not be as photogenic as Katie or Jennifer, but at least we won’t be missing from the family wall of photographs!!
I apologize for any typos and grammar. The typeface on Jim’s laptop which I am using in lieu of the computer that my daughter seconded is too tiny to proof (even with my glasses on).
