Heading home

I will be heading home this morning.  The break was very restful and I’m feeling a little bit more optimistic than I was when I ventured over here on Saturday.  Work will be very busy, but I’m actually looking forward to it.

I’m hoping Kopper saved me some turducken, she said there was leftovers…

  1. The turducken’s remains were divided between BigKid, LaFashionista and me. I do have a good chunk of turkey breast, and LOTS of cranberry sauce. The major portion went to LaFashionista, who will be converting it to Turducken Pot Pie. I’ve been invited over this weekend to sample same.
The turducken was a reasonable first try, entirely edible (although a bit overseasoned for my taste), but next year’s model will have some technical and aesthetic improvements. Yes, we’re doing it again.
