I also read the other article on the same page regarding dog’s thunder phobias which concluded that a dog that is consoled by its owner or left alone has the same anxiety levels as measured by the hormones present in their saliva. The study concluded that other dogs in the house were of some benefit in reducing the anxiety levels. This got me to wondering if dogs feels real emotion towards humans. Because there is plenty of evidence to conclude that dogs do impact the physical and emotional well-being of humans.

Any thoughts?

Dogs are definitely emotionally affected by humans; I dunno what it would take to assist a dog in that instance. Me and goggies aren’t that close.
