The natural science is fascinating, and the application to human activities even more so.
Interesting article. Looks as though swarm behaviour will work for everything but humans. The prisoner’s dilemma (problem of the common) means that it won’t work for us.
Yes – the only way you can make it work is if you’re genetically programmed to put the swarm first. Doesn’t work for primates. However it does make for somewhat better crowd control algorithms, always a good thing.
