Maybe there’s a good reason not to.
Just as a comment, my health has improved since I stopped using public transit.

I spent the weekend in the bosom of my family (having declared a mental health emergency) and am feeling much restored. I’d like to thank Paul for coming over and dragging me off to Deer Lake for a walk and then cooking dinner at Geekhaus AND cleaning up after. Sanity ++, thank you.
Keith took fireworks over to a friend’s place last night. I expect a report on the reports.
Katie worked midnights on Saturday and I felt so sorry for her I went to pick her up.
Nasty hydroplane conditions on the hill this morning … really nasty.
Or at least I’m going to dress like one at work today.
Freaking out mildly about travelling still, but I am trying to be as stoic about it as possible.
Katie moved in – so the pile of boxes say – but she slept without last night.
I’m two rooms away from Margot and I can hear her cleaning herself. She makes a slurping noise while grooming that is disproportionately louder than her tiny size makes plausible. Also, although she has not put on any weight, her fur has exploded into its winter state and I’m back to having to brush her very thoroughly once a day. She puts up with it less gracefully than she used to, and by the time I’m done she’s yowling – a very low key yowl – and attempting to puncture me in a variety of squirmy ways.
I am so looking forward to seeing her wander around in the snow. She was too little before, but this year she and snow will make friends.
Well, it’s one of those periods of my life when it appears I’m in hibernation. Heron woman is scarcely moving. Okay, I’m drying my wings (derpderpderp). Continue reading What I’ve been up to
Moose moose moose. Moose kisses are so…. overwhelming.
Today, the following words came out of my mouth, “Ethical, my ass, I just don’t want to get blamed for it.”
Expect a phone call condoling you on surviving another harassing year.
As much as I like the gal running the service yesterday as a person, I find her music tedious, so I bailed on her church service and did other things instead. Hey, lots of people find my music tedious too, I could give you a list.
Katie has moved some more of her stuff in. The official moving date is the 28th. Don’t know how long she’ll be here… don’t care. It’s all family.
I wrote a thousand word thank you letter for Mike. I want to print it out and give it to him in person, but I think I should just mail it.
I light a candle for Shay, who was on a ventilator two days ago after surgery and is now awake. That woman is so loved by her community it is awesome to see.
Keith and Katie were here last night and we watched some shows.
I went walking in Deer Lake Park on Saturday.
I was going to do this as a pictorial essay but I kept thinking that even attempting to do this was the height of self indulgent schlock; pictures would just be even more self indulgent.
I loves the intarwebs. I now know exactly where I’m going to be sitting on the Embraer 190 when I go to the States.
